i think we suspend to ram, but other people know more about that.

From what I understood from the discussion in Bordeaux the bootloader
relies on wince for booting.

You could try to figure out how writing to flash works with the current
driver.
I think you should start out with the "easy" stuff, and make the
batterymanagement work. During that process you will learn more and
more about the h2200. You can use the knowledge gathered from that to
make the rest work.
