Yeah, Michael! I am a Medicine student! Thank you for the inspiration! :-)
I've followed you wiki page about OE, and I do everything you say, but the
oe-env.sh doesn't work (I've put the export
PATH=$PATH:/home/arthur/oe/oe/bin manually in may .bashrc - does it
substitute the oe-env.sh?). When I run oemake opie-image (oemake instead of
oe-make as you said on the wiki) the program gives a message:
NOTE: Psyco JIT Compiler (http://psyco.sf.net) not available. Install it to
increase performance.
NOTE: Using cache in '/home/arthur/oe/cvs/oe-packages/tmp/cache'
ERROR: no files to build.
NOTE: Parsing finished. 0 cached, 0 parsed, 0 skipped.
When I enter in some packages/directory (like packages/zope) and do oemake
zope_2.7.1.oe it says again:
make: Nothing to be done for 'zope_2.7.1.oe'
If someone could help to understand better the functioning of OE, I would
thank.
Best wishes,
Arthur
