booting from cf

Dear all,
I tried a lot of times to boot from cf. Well, only two times haret brings
linux up. One time I went in an endless calibration process of OPIE, and
only one time I went ahead but then it says me: FATAL: cannot load irda0
module. (seems that it is infrared module).
Anybody know what must I do?
