Right! The right way to start Linux is through the "init" command.
That's why there's no "/linuxrc" script in the OE rootfs, I guess.
In the beginning, I guess you'd rather make your first tests without
modifying the initrd file. You may just add a "/linuxrc" script to the
new rootfs with "#exec /sbin/init $*". Then, see what happens.
It's true we still need to check how oe's rootfs handles the loading of
machine specific modules...
