I looked at alain's changes (alain2210.free.fr) and modified his
linuxrc to

1) mount the cf card
2) mount the loopfs
3) pivotroot to the loopfs

The problem I faced was that loop.ko wasn't included in the initrd and
2.6.7 doesn't boot for me.
