cardmgr & unknown partition table

Hello,

I am trying to mount Lexar 256 MB Compact Flash Card from initrd. I compiled
all necessary modules (pcmcia, ide, file system, ...) in kernel. When I
execute cardmgr, it returns:

........................
Partition check:
 /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0: unknown partition table
........................
........................

I format card with fat and ext2 with only one partition with the same
result. Kernel is 2.6.6-hh0. Obviously something is wrong with the partition
table or perhaps with something else. I don't know. Does someone has some
hints how can I fix that?
