2200 flashing.

I live close enough to CRL that I could drive down to get an iPAQ
unbricked (assuming Jamey would be willing to unbrick it for me)?

My 2200 is also currently sitting unused until this port makes it a
viable replacement for my 3835. It is also an Ebay buy so unless the
CompUSA service place transfers (like the seller presumed it would) I
doubt I'm voiding anything by opening it.

I would be willing to attempt a flash of my device.

So far I haven't found the existing rootfs to be all that usable since
the touchscreen doesn't work well enough. I've done a lot of playing
with OE and I'm hoping that a real distribution image (open embedded for
zaurus) will be created off of it really soon. Using another working
image as a guide I would guess we could build an image that should work
using the OE build system.

I guess what I'm getting at is that currently I haven't seen anything
that seemed like it was worth flashing. How close do people think we
are? I'm I correct in waiting for an OE based root? I was waiting for
that before trying to help with this port, I was hoping to look into the
SD card.
