Actually, it's not trivial to document how to build the rootfs either.
The current rootfs is the product of the evolution of packages and
configuration files applied to earlier rootfs versions.

As such, it can't really be created from scratch yet. I hope this will
be true in the future though, when the device is fully supported by
Familiar and/or OpenEmbedded.
