You shouldn't use ext3, but ext2 instead. According to a prior posting
on a handhelds.org mailing list, the ext3 journal is at a fixed location
on the device. So, you'll make a lot of writes on the same physical
location and will wear off your CF card within a few days or weeks....

By the way, what's missing to use jffs2 instead on the CF card?

Once Zap said it would be difficult to get it working, but as far as I
remember, he didn't give us many details why...
