In case you didn't know, Linux 2.4 driver code for the Philips UDA1380
chip is also available from the Zaurus SL-A300 kernel sources.
It could be helpful...

Anyway, if you want to compare 2.4 hh.org cvs (http://cvs.handhelds.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/linux/kernel/drivers/sound /) to sharp one.
