Great! I'll look for the commit log for the driver, I can handle patching
mach-h1940.c of course. When you say "mmc stuff", would that be the
s3cmci driver, or the older s3c2410mci? I never had much luck with the
latter, though the s3cmci gave me trouble with highspeed cards when
the core mmc code tried to set it.

Yes, charging status/connected to mains, plus the LED hook. I like
to know when it's fully charged just by glancing at it in the dock.
I know the current code doesn't read the level, which would be nice
but I looked into that before and understand why it's not there.

Sounds good. I ended up tweaking the key map a little so using the
1940 was easier for handheld nongraphic use. For example, I mapped
the "record" key to left-alt, and changed the application buttons to
function keys, so I can swap VT's and the like. It's pretty handy as
a tethered device, and as a portable bluetooth terminal. So it would
be good to use the upstream key driver to make setup easier.

That would be great! You put it your ipaq/patches when you do? I'd be
