Nope. Even my slower sd card fails to mount the root. The driver reports
a "data transfer still in progress" before failing, which is new though. The
selected clock is 16875MHz. I wish I could cut and paste the boot log,
but the kernel reboots since it can't mount its root. I guess I could try
with an initrd but the sequence will be diferent.
Is the is the s3mci driver in rtp's WIP directory? I tried that before and
got similar results. Is there some new code in your version?
One thing I investigated earlier was the change in the interrupt registry
that appeared the ARM code. As I recall, the s3c2410_mci driver was one
which requested edge-triggered interrupts, but this changed to default
level-triggered after the set_irq_type() api was removed. I thought perhaps
the interrupts were not firing properly, causing transfers to not complete.
However, I tried registering them as edge-triggered using the new api, and
no joy. Just an idea!
Tom.
