1930/1940 initrd or kernel reiserfs and swap

Hello,

Is there any plan to have reiserfs and swap support in initrd
or should I corss-compile myself a kernel?
This would be great first to avoid fsck problems while booting
on SD card and to be able to run programs which require
more RAM than available on my 1930 using a swapfile on
my SD card.
