touchscreen related

Hi, Michael again. I know the mouse position is set through the ts program, is there a way to get more information from the touchscreen? Knowing if individual pixels are depressed would enable developers to build better on-screen controls that recognize multiple objects and/or the dimensions of objects. Recognizing the difference between a stylus and your finger (by noticing the width difference) could lead to a REAL right-click function and possibly recognition of other objects by their footprint. I think the easiest way to share this information with apps would be to save it to a temporary file. Here are a few examples of how this would be used.

Recognition-based command launching
Braille reading
Left click with stylus, right click with finger
Using a special stylus with a pattern on the top to draw with one side and erase with the other
Many virtual buttons on at once (for adding REAL shift/ctrl keys or creating an on-screen joystick)
Fingerprint recognition (if the touchscreen is sensitive enough)

BTW, if anyone can tell me where to get an image with battery charging or walk a n00b through applying a charging patch I would greatly appreciate it. :)
