Maybe using the GPE image could be a better id. iirc, there were some
version of the OPIE image that were broken. For more information, I
think that you'll have to wait for Arjan or Ilia.

The SD card driver is a little bit broken. For instance, it works only with
some SD cards... but we don't know what makes a card working or not.
In case you want to give it a try, here is what I do (other
solutions/variants exist) :
1) Setup 2 partitions on your SD. One with fat and one with ext3
2) Extract Arjan's image into the ext3 partition
3) put haret and the kernel on the fat partition. The default.txt file
is the one below :
set MTYPE 347
set KERNEL "zImage"
set INITRD "initrd"
set RAMADDR 0x30000000
set CMDLINE "console=tty0 noinitrd root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rw panic=60 rootdelay=5"
bootlinux
4) Launch linux with Haret :)
Note that you should consider that as a proof of concept. There's no
battery management yet....
