The only file you change from the aquadran ones is the zImage if you're
going to use 2.6 kernel.

You're going to have to connect to the ipaq using infra red, and depending
on if you're in windows or linux, you would use minicom or hyperterminal to
create a connection to the ipaq through IR.

Subject: [H1900-port] infa red

My laptop has infared and direct internet access. Once the irda is
configured it says that the link is inactive, however it does show up
on my laptop. My question is once the pda is connected through infa
red, what do I do next? Also, for your zimage do i use the same
aquadran files with it and just change the zimage file or do i have to
use another linexec, param, and inid file? thanks
