The files I spoke of would be uploaded via SYNCE(if your PC runs linux) or
ActiveSync(if your PC runs in windows) via the USB connection.
Then, at that point, you run linexec1910 (which is a wince executable) and
it automatically loads the zImage and initrd into memory and basically puts
linux on your ipaq.
The only other way would be to buy a MMC card (cause SD cards cannot be read
in linux) and putting the root filesystem on it (instead of using initrd for
this purpose)... and changing the boot options for the kernel so it mounts
the MMC card as the root filesystem.

This is cool! Glad to still see interest in the 1910. I have one also that
I think would be fabulous with Linux. I don't think I am smart enough to
understand how to help port it, but hope that eventually the process would
be feasible and written step by painfully slow step. But that is me.
My curious question of the day regarding this is: For the 1910, are you
using the USB connection to get Linux on it or by some other means?
Thanks.

To answer your question:
The website went out and the last backup is what you see online (which was
made in August).
I've been able to cross compile a 2.6 kernel for my 1910 under FC3, and
successfully booted. I have problems with the I/O over the usb gadget.
Other than that... if you'd like me to post my existing configuration
(zImage, params, initrd, linexec1910) so you too can see what I see and try
and mess with it... I would also of course include source files and config
files.
