Unfortunately for me, the instructions from Adrian are for getting a
connection to the 1940's bootloader WHILE it's still running WinCE....or so
it seems...

I already have linux running on the ipaq, and I'm trying to connect to it at
it's ttyUSB0 /dev address.... I've tried Adrian's steps as well, and that is
the result I got... all the ipaq does is give me the NULL tty error when I
send an enter.

look back in the h1900 mails for Adrian's step-by-step on settng up
minicom for usb with the ipaq. I must say it worked for me.
