Ok everyone, here is my newest report:
I have compiled a zImage for the 1910 using 2.6 kernel
since I have no idea how to make an initrd to go with it, I used the one
aquadran provided under his bootstrap folder...
I got a boot, it even connects to my computer as a USB Serial Gadget!!!
alas, it does not have the proper root filesystem and it gives me a lot
of "file not found" when it boots up... and the backlight does not work,
so it's hard to see the screen.
I tried using minicom to connect to it, but I don't think I have modules
for USB gadget in current kernel on my PC... so I have to download
sources and re-compile kernel and modules (have a fresh install of
FC3)...
I feel like I'm getting somewhere now!
If anyone needs any help getting as far as I have, just let me know and
I can try and make a step-by-step process...
If anyone knows how to make an initrd to go with my new kernel... I
would greatly appreciate the help!
Greetz
