New Problem

ok, so I rebuilt my FC3 kernel, which was not easy as redhat does not
include source RPM's in the CD images.... but I managed.

I added usb gadget suport by adding net2280 and g_serial as modules to
the kernel.

When I plug in my 1910 running 2.6 kernel, the ipaq gives a "Gadget
serial configured for full speed" message and when I run usbview on my
PC it shows the "Gadget Serial" device in red, meaning no drivers were
loaded for it.

here is output for ipaq using 'cat /proc/bus/usb/devices' on my PC:

T: Bus=03 Lev=02 Prnt=02 Port=03 Cnt=02 Dev#= 6 Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 2.00 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=16 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=0525 ProdID=a4a6 Rev= 0.01
S: Manufacturer=Linux 2.6.3-hh2 with pxa2xx
S: Product=Gadget Serial
S: SerialNumber=0
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 2 Atr=c0 MxPwr=100mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=(none)
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms
E: Ad=02(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms

Obviously I need the USB gadget pxa2xx driver for this to work, but the
current kernel source I have only gives me 3 options for gadget drivers:
-Netchip 2280
-Toshiba TC86C001 'Goku-S'
-Dummy HCD

maybe I configured my ipaq's kernel wrong?

P.S. I'm frustrated, so I'm stopping all work on this for now...
