Status of project

It's been a while since anyone's posted anything of significance on the
handhelds website about the status of the 1910 project.

Can anyone tell me what is needed in order to get the 1910 booting into
linux GPE or OPIE like aquadran did? I can get it to boot into prompt, but I
think that usb gadget is broken... and I don't have IR on my computer...
