  It mostly depends on point of view. From your, there was no intention
of starting flame I guess. The all the things happened not so long ago
(few months) and there were flames connected to every question
associated to it. Simply, some people wanted the move, others did not
want. So every question concerning this can possibly start again flames
which (as many people on both sides hope) already finished. As far as I
understand, general intention is to wait until the things will settle
down.

  The questions you asked at the end of the paragraph could easily start
flame if someone tried to answer them, because one or the other side
could get it wrong. Paul said it maybe too directly, but he's still
right.

  Archives of gpe_at_handhelds.org should give you more information about
why asking such questions might not be good idea:).
