As long as we can leave handhelds in good understanding and manage to

As we are moving anyway wouldn't it make more sense to move to some more
"elaborate" versioning system like SVN for example? And do a much needed
clean-up of the CVS anyway. I am willing to put some time in that if
this can be somehow co-ordinated.
