OK, it seems that several people have still problems with the patched
opie-taskbar and syncing.

The symtpom seems to be that ftp works but syncing is still broken.
Unfortunately the author of that patch is on vacation for the next 10
days so
I beg for more patience.

I hope that TrollTech and PumaSoft come up with an update version of
QtopiaDesktop and IntelliSync which would solve all problems.

In the meantime I apologize for all inconveniences- however blame
TrollTech
for it ;-)

Under familiar 0.53 and below libuuid is hidden in the e2fsprogs package
so
there is nothing wrong with ignoring the dependency if that is
installed.

However in the unstable and familiar-0.6-pre1 tree libuuid has been put
in
e2fsprogs-libuuid1 for those with now need for the ext2 tool suite.

So it depends which familiar version one is using.
