Desktop (win) <- ppp -> ipaq (linux)

Hi,

how can i connect via serial cable and PPP from my windows 2000 desktop to my ipaq/familiar 0.4 ?

The documents and links provided @ http://www.handhelds.org/z/wiki/WindowsPPPHowto and http://www.linuxgazette.com/issue41/smyth.html are not very helpful.

Someone maybe has a working setup and can provide a nice wiki page or at least some tips how to do it ?
