In the Familiar unstable feed we have:
http://familiar.handhelds.org/familiar/feeds/unstable/packages/armv4l/pcmcia-cs_0.0-fam4_arm.ipk
dated 07-Jun-2001.
In the lorien demo feed we have:
ftp://lorien.handhelds.org/pub/linux/feeds/demo/pcmcia-cs_0.0-fam3-1_arm.ipk
dated 13-Jun-2001.
This is kind of confusing. Also, why the 0.0 version numbers? It would be extremely nice to be able to figure out what cardmgr versions these are without having to install them. I also find that with
src crl-demo ftp://lorien.handhelds.org/pub/linux/feeds/demo
src familiar.handhelds.org http://familiar.handhelds.org/familiar/releases/unstable/packages/armv4l/
in my /etc/ipkg.conf that ipkg preferences pcmcia-cs_0.0-fam3-1_arm.ipk over the seemingly higher version number of pcmcia-cs_0.0-fam4_arm.ipk.
Is this to be expected. Does the source order have precedence over version numbers?
