Problem with Blackdown JVM: can't locate module binfmt-0000

Thanks for the help with an earlier questions. After slimming Blackdown JVM 1.3.1 down, I got it into the iPaq but when I run java it gives me "modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module binfmt-0000"

I can't find binfmt-0000 in Blackdown's distribution and I don't know what it is.

Did anyone have this problem? Thanks
