2.4.18 HH8 /pproc/hal/ incorrect

I have just installed the latest kernel HH8
after a reboot ( ipaq 3660 64mb rom 128mb ram )

GREAT but after a suspend resume I only Get

I only get one battery Reading the batteryinfo is Great
But I thought my dual Sleeve had 2 batterys

at leat the serial no is OK !!!!!
is the ram /rom info hard coded somewhere ?? it rather messes
things up if you have had your ipaq upgraded

sh-2.03# the light sensor has allways returned this ...
