OK, a few more comments.
Installation process: from WinCE, you load the bootldr exe to save
the flash images and load the bootldr into flash. You then have to
boot the new bootldr, type in lots of parameters and perform some
special steps, then download the kernel image to it's partition and
the root image to it's partition.
Would it be possible to just save the WinCE flash images (4x16M) and
then load the Familiar flash images (4x16M or so). Then boot into
Familiar. This would make it a lot more simple and, I would think,
reduce the chance of coming up with a brick.
