I have been using Familiar .4 and a Compaq WL100 card with the wlan-ng
driver from unstable for many weeks now... all has been well.
Yesterday I had to make a minor mod to network.opts due to DNS changes. I
did it, and all seemed to be just fine.
As the day went on, I needed to try the card on a different box, so I
removed it, but I didn't stop pcmcia. Now I can't get it to work again. ...
I think the card is ok, because it gets recognized, but I'm getting unusual
errors when I try to start pcmcia...

Is it possible that I messed something up by removing the card w/o doing a
stop first? I could reinstall the kernel and try to reinstall the wlan-ng,
but I had problems initially with ipkg and was walked through the process on
the chat, and I forgot to save the log! (ugh)
I couldn't recreate that process right now.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Ellen Dash
