how about wired-lan? I just used NE2000 compat. pcmcia ether card.

You can reboot after you use ppp connection, don't you?
Or you can just send some archives thru minicom.
is X/Y/Z modem ready on your iPAQ? otherwise you can just
send 'shar' archive. An ol' good usenet technology :-)

type RSYNC_RSH=ssh and then rsync works with ssh.
