Thanxx for you hint.

I compiled the Kernel and the kernel boots the iPAQ - fine! But what
JFFS2 filesystem are you using along with this kernel configuration?
There seems to be a problem with the device files in the /dev
directory (in this kernel is devfs automatically mounted at kernel
startup)

I took the familiar v0.4 task-familiar-complete and replaced the
modules by the ones from the new kernel and rebuild the jffs2

Problems:
- - The serial port does not work as console port anymore
  (If I give the kernel the bootoption console=/dev/ttySA0 nothing
comes out there)
- - I can see that /dev/h3600_ts can not be opend
- - LinuxInit can not open /dev/tty0
