iPAQ does not recognize PCMCIA Cards

Hi There,

I just got the DualSlot PCCard Expension Pack from Compaq and tried to hook
up a Lucent WLAN Card or a 3C589D-TP Ethernet card without any success.

I stopped and started the /etc/init.d/pcmcia without any sign that the
cardmgr recognizes the cards in the slots.

Where does the cardmgr log events to in familiar 0.4 to see if it recognizes
the events?
Has anybody experience with the DualSlot Expansion Pack?
Am I missing here something?

I'm thankfull for any kind of help.
