You can just tar xvzf the ipk package.

hi,

  i want to cross compile Qt 2.3.0 for ipaq and i require libjpeg.so and
libmng.so compiled by arm-linux-g++. i found a library in the site, but it
has an extension of .ipk. i have red hat linux installed on my PC and i need
to extract that package . can some one tell me how to do it ?
