[ANNOUNCE] Menu system is in unstable

Familiar now has full support for dynamic menus. This means that menus
such as the blackbox menu are now generated dynamically based on the
set of packages that are currently installed. No more manual hacking
of menu files!

To try it out, (for those running Familiar/unstable), simply
"ipkg update; ipkg upgrade" then "ipkg install menu-tiny".

If you are the maintainer of a package, it's quite easy to add support
to your package so that it automatically gets installed on the
menus. Just follow the instructions posted at:

        http://www.handhelds.org/~nelson/menu/

Have fun,

-Carl

PS. If you are the maintainer of a menu-manager program, (such as a
window manager), then please contact me as the syntax if the
/etc/menu-methods scripts is slightly different than what is
documented at the URL above.
