Need help in installing QPE -dynamic from source

hi.

I have been trying real hard to install QPE (QTE
palmtop environment) from source for dynamic build.

i have been able install the qt X11 and qt embedded as
mention on the website
http://qpe.sourceforge.net/build.html

however when i do a make for qpe source, it gives me a
syntax error :

moc_qprocess.cpp:22: syntax error before `::'
moc_qprocess.cpp:27: syntax error before `::'
moc_qprocess.cpp:29: syntax error before `::'
moc_qprocess.cpp:52: syntax error before `::'
moc_qprocess.cpp:60: ISO C++ forbids declaration of

moc_qprocess.cpp:68: cannot convert `QMetaObject *' to
`int' in
initialization
moc_qprocess.cpp:69: syntax error before `->'
make[1]: *** [moc_qprocess.o] Error 1

I have dowloaded the source from
http://sourceforge.net/projects/qpe/

i have no clue why would i get a syntax error. i did a
make clean and recompiled a couple of times, but still
get the same error.

can anyone help me to overcome this problem.
