Linux Development Environment

Hi all,

I am looking for a good Linux integrated development environment to work
in. I need something like Visual C++ so I can setup breakpoints, variable
watch windows, and step thru code. Can anyone recommend any? My company
is really getting into Linux Software development. THis would help a
lot... thanks.
