Pocket Linux

I'm looking for some help with Pocket Linux. I install the familiar
bootstrap, did the post-inst, edited ipkg.conf to point to :
'http://www.transvirtual.com/downloads/pocketlinux/dists/ipkg', ran
'ipkg update', ran 'ipkg install task-pocketlinux', ran
'./etc/init.d/pocketlinux' and did the calibration screen. I get the
poket linux background image of the penguin breking through with the
devices around him, I hope someone knows what I mean. I can't get
anything to work from there. I don't get the app manager or anything.
Can someone please help me?
