iPAQ just bypasses this error message and boots on.

This is a bug in the RTC module. the kernel on the 0.5.1 default install
is 2.4.16-hh6 and it can't cope with dates in Dec, you need to get a new
kernel from the lorien feed I believe to update this
the poke command "resets" the RTC clock in the ipaq so it doesn't hang
when init (via some rc.d script) calls hwclock to set the system clock
from the hardware one..
This is a known problem and afaik people are working on it.. for which I
am personally very grateful! (all-together-now) Thankyou kind
developers!
