First of all, thanks, but I'm not really the author of the Familiar
installation instructions; I've only done a little editting here and there.
Alexander Guy (a7r) did by far the bulk of the work. Also, please direct
all questions and comments to the appropriate mailing list
(familiar@handhelds.org in this case) so that we can leverage the power of
the community.

I have to admit I have never heard of anyone getting a blank blue screen.
The best I can suggest is to do the usual:

Check the md5sums of all downloaded files, particularly the zImage and
jffs2 files.

I would then suggest reflashing the zImage and jffs2 files per the
instructions starting at the step entitled "Loading the Familiar v0.4 Kernel".

If after doing these steps you still do not get a satisfactory response
please feel free to join us on IRC channel #ipaq on irc.openprojects.net
where we can do a little more "live" support.
