I've tried to set up USB network between Mandrake 8.0 and familiar
on ipaq
#modprobe usb-eth
#
on pc (in mandrake as super user terminal):
#modprobe usbnet
#
than in mandrake i started usb services and put ipaq to cradle, however
on ipaq
# ifconfig usbn inet 195.148.218.226 gw 195.148.218.240 up
SIOCSIFADDR: no such device
usbn: unknown interface : no such device
gw:host name lookup failure
while on pc
# ifconfig usb0 inet 195.148.218.240 up
SIOCSIFADDR: no such device
usb0 : unknown interface : no such device
do I have to compile files from http://handhelds.org/z/wiki/......
or mandrake 8.0 already have them but there is an error in procedure I'm doing
