I would love to use a few of the debian arm programs that require this
library.

Is there a "stripped" down version that would work? The one one the debian
site is 1 M by itself!?

BTW, I am trying to use plan (which may end up looking awful, but I figure I
could hack the source to make it small if need be) and possibly nedit (with
the stowaway, of course).
