problem bitbaking opie-image -- linux-hotplug

Hello,

I tried to send this a while ago and my webmail server failed
on me, my apologies if it gets through twice.

I am trying to build an opie-image using the familiar build
tree for an hx4700. I am getting an error on the
linux-hotplug-20040920-r9 package. I pasted the error at the
bottom of the message. I am currently looking at the bitbake
scripts but haven't seen anything obvious yet.

When I look at the contents of the
tmp/work/arm-linux/linux-hotplug-20040920-r9/image/etc/hotplug
directory, I see an empty directory called "{usb,pci}", I'm
guessing that this is a result of a failed expansion on the
install -d command below. Does anyone have any suggestions on
where to look or how to fix this?
