Building the tree.

I have inserted

  ENABLE_BINARY_LOCALE_GENERATION = 0

in the end of conf/auto.conf and it seems to have
worked. Then I typed

  bitbake gpe-image

and it ran for a long time compiling packages, until it
reached pppd, where it displayed the following complaints:

NOTE: multiple providers are available (glibc, glibc-intermediate);
NOTE: consider defining
PREFERRED_PROVIDER_virtual/arm-linux-libc-for-gcc
NOTE: preferred version 0.15 of orinoco-modules not available

NOTE: package ppp-2.4.3-r0: task do_fetch: completed
NOTE: package ppp-2.4.3-r0: task do_compile: started
ERROR: function do_compile failed

(/stuff/familiar-build/build-h2200-gpe/tmp/work/arm-linux/ppp-2.4.3-r0/temp/log.do_compile.10678)

plus a buzillion of error and warning lines. I tried to

  git pull

but it said my tree is up to date. Can you give me another hint?
