I am sure it was dropped for a reason. But that reason might have been
that the bb was unmaintain :P. Seriously, there is still a bb for mesa
in the OE tree. You are welcome to try to copy it over and try to make
it work. I am telling you that it will be a hard fight if you have no
hardware acceleration. The lack of a real floating point unit is just
the beginning of the problems you are likely to encounter.
