todo items lost on reboot in opie-todo

I have searched to see if any other people have reported this bug I
was not able to find anything.

Occasionally my iPAQ will freeze and I will have to do a soft reset or
sometimes it will just reboot itself.

After the reboot I will open the Opie Todo list program and find that
most of my changes since (it seems like) last time I've rebooted my
iPAQ have been lost.

I think this may be caused by the Todo program "caching" the the
todo's and never writing them to disk.

Does anyone know how I could prevent this from happening? I have tried
opening and closing the todo list program but it does not seem to
help.

Other programs do not seem to be affected by this problem, Opie
Checkbook for example.

I am using Opie 1.2.0 and Familiar 0.8.2 and have a iPAQ 3850.
