Why ? When you can see the bootloader-screen, I think all is ok. AND the
linux-bootloader can manage _both_ operating systems !

Is it still possible, to start the old os (wince) by pushing the 'itask'
button ??
If this procedure fails, make a hard reset (calendar + itask buttons
+ stylus) and do it again.
As I reported, it's much more easier to use a serial hotsync cable and a
terminal program .
This lets you control the start sequence and kernel-messages of
opie/gpe-linux and you are able, to analyse it or write it to a logfile on
your host-computer.
