No, I think they're duplicating effort.

Yup. I would love that to happen, and I've mailed GMate about it, but haven't
gotten a reply (to 3 seperate mails). If you'd like to talk to them and
get them in touch w/ me, I'd be happy to get something going. As it is,
they're going to be duplicating work/running into problems that we have already
fixed. There's no point in that.
