Not at all. You can run PPP over the serial port, and USBNet over the
USB port. There's IrDA support as well, but it seems that most modern
desktop or laptop machines do not support IrDA. :-( Too bad, really,
because it would be far and away the most convenient way to upgrade
your iPaq to Linux.
