I have the same problem. I have tried several different cards in the
pcmcia dual expansion slot with the same results. Dell Truemobile card
and Cisco aironet. Looks like a bug in the driver code for the pcmcia
dual expansion jacket . One other thing I noticed is when this occurs
I have mmc debug errors show up in log files, however the problem was
present before I purchased an mmc card.

Anyway I have posted before and there is currently no solution. I
first noticed this with familiar 0.4, and the problem has not been
solved. I actually use bluetooth for local networking because it is
more reliable with large file.

I also tried changing the timing parameter for the pcmcia dual
expansion slot with no luck.

Best advice is not to transfer any large files. It works fine
with ssh, or surfing the web.
